New Supporting Members are welcome to join our Heritage Program for a $66 contribution, which supports our preservation projects and helps enhance the Route 66 experience for future generations from all over the world. 

The Route 66 Alliance New Mexico relies on volunteers and community support to fulfill our mission of education, promotion, and preservation. We work to: 

• Preserve historic neon signs: This includes restoring structures, electronic elements, and neon tubing for businesses along the route in New Mexico.
• Promote tourism and economic revitalization: We help New Mexico communities and businesses along Route 66 benefit from the highway’s legacy.
• Educate the public: This involves sharing the history and cultural significance of Route 66 in New Mexico through research, a speaker’s bureau, and educational materials. 

Our Route 66 Heritage Program offers a way for everyone to support the spirit of The Mother Road. Individuals, businesses, and community organizations are all invited!

• Join us! Become involved in our volunteer group and become active in protecting and preserving Route 66 in New Mexico.
• Support our preservation efforts: Your $66 membership directly contributes to preservation projects aimed at maintaining the highway’s authenticity and historical value.
• Enhance the Route 66 experience: Your support helps ensure that future generations can enjoy and appreciate the legacy of the Mother Road. 
• Donate! Support all of our programs and efforts to increase the number of visitors traveling Route 66, with the aim of increasing their length of stay and the economic impact they have on Route 66 in New Mexico.

Your Supporting Membership is valid for a complete year from your join date. If you join NOW, you’ll receive a special Commemorative Coin for the Route 66 centennial in New Mexico. All members receive our quarterly, members-only newsletter, The Route 66 NM News, and early invites to events.

Giving to someone as a gift? Both our online and mail-in applications allow you to gift a supporting membership to anyone you think would enjoy our newsletter and other benefits.
